Nusa leads RB Leipzig to 5–0 win over Hamburg SV

Gomis opens the scoring

RB Leipzig took the lead against Hamburg SV in the 17th minute. Gruda released Banzuzi on the right, and Banzuzi sent a low cross to Gomis, who finished first-time at the near post.

Nusa adds a second before halftime

Nusa scored in the 28th minute after a Heuer Fernandes mispass. He won the ball against Nandja and shot; Heuer Fernandes got a touch but could not keep it out. Hamburg became more active before halftime, but Leipzig went into the break ahead 2–0.

Leipzig made a change in the 35th minute when Nkunku replaced Ouedraogo, who had a shoulder problem. Nkunku would later score Leipzig’s fourth goal.

Leipzig scores three times in five minutes

Hamburg pushed more after the break before Leipzig scored three times from the 72nd through the 77th minute. Orban arrived at the far post to convert Nusa’s free kick in the 72nd. Two minutes later, Nusa advanced on the left and found Nkunku, who had pulled back into space. Nkunku finished first-time from about 14 meters.

Romulo completes the win

Romulo scored in the 77th minute to complete Leipzig’s 5–0 win. He won possession around halfway, ran through, rounded Heuer Fernandes and put the ball into the empty net. Nusa finished with a goal and assists on both Orban’s and Nkunku’s goals.
