TEN beats IND 26–20 with two field goals in the final 2:07

IND builds a 13-point halftime lead

IND scored all 13 points of the first half at Lucas Oil Stadium, but TEN reversed the result after halftime and won in regulation. Two fourth-quarter touchdowns put TEN ahead before a late IND response set up the deciding field goals.

The first quarter ended scoreless despite an interception thrown by D. Jones with 2:44 remaining. IND opened the scoring in the second quarter when D. Jones threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to M. Alie-Cox at 11:12. The extra point made it 7–0.

A 23-yard field goal extended IND's lead with 2:09 left in the half. C. Ward then threw an interception at 2:00, and IND added a 47-yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining to reach halftime ahead 13–0.

TEN starts its comeback with two field goals

J. Taylor lost a fumble on a 4-yard run just four seconds into the third quarter, with J. Simmons recovering for TEN. A 29-yard field goal at 13:33 gave TEN its first points.

D. Jones threw another interception with 7:07 remaining in the third. TEN later made a 56-yard field goal at 3:26, cutting the deficit to seven points. IND still led 13–6 at the end of the quarter.

Fourth-quarter touchdowns change the lead

C. Ward threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to C. Tate with 13:04 left in the fourth quarter. The extra point four seconds later tied the game at 13–13.

O. Oladejo scored a TEN touchdown on an IND punt play at 10:25. The extra point made it 20–13, completing a run of 20 unanswered points. IND answered with J. Taylor's 4-yard touchdown run at 5:36; the ensuing extra point tied the game again.

Two late kicks settle the finish

TEN moved back ahead on a 49-yard field goal with 2:07 remaining, then added a 44-yard field goal with 47 seconds left. IND had possession when regulation ended, with no further scoring, leaving TEN a six-point winner.
